Sharp Patrol Security Services FAQ

 Yes, Sharp Patrol is a licensed contractor as required by the State of California. 

SPSS carries a $2,000,000 general liability insurance policy and $1,000,000 in workers' compensation insurance, exceeding the requirements of the BSIS. 

SPSS provides well-trained, certified, licensed armed and unarmed guards for commercial, industrial, and residential properties, as well as vehicle patrol. 

SPSS offers long-term contracts, short-term contracts, and month-to-month options. 

SPSS conducts comprehensive background checks through the DOJ, reference checks, and fingerprint/drug screenings for each prospective employee to maintain the highest quality guards in the industry. 

 We offer cost-effective, highly competitive rates without compromising the quality of service provided. 

 Our guards check in and out with a dispatcher at the beginning and end of their shift. Additionally, our Field Supervisor conducts random checks on all guards. SPSS also offers digital scans for monitoring at the client's request and live monitoring at an additional cost. 

 Our guards wear a black jacket and black slacks, with a black shirt, and a blue polo in warmer weather. We also offer executive (with blazers) and plainclothes guards. 

 Our guards carry a duty belt containing handcuffs, a flashlight, pepper spray, and holster for armed guards. Additional equipment is provided upon request based on the client's needs and the job site requirements. 

SPSS rotates guards at most accounts to ensure familiarity with the location. However, if a client requests a specific guard, we accommodate their request.
